A couple of large, brightly painted second-floor rooms make up the entirety of the Fulir, but this hostel just off Trg Jelacic[s]a is loaded with personality. Its founders are college friends who opened Fulir in 2006 to mimic the kinds of places they like to stay in when they travel. It's clean, safe (someone is always on duty), affordable, and centrally located. The owners explained that Fulir once was owned by one of their grandmothers and that it is in a historic building. There is a kitchen for guests' use and lockers where they can keep their valuables when they are out and about. There is no age limit for guests and Fulir's doors are open from 8am-10pm. If you need to leave early or get back late, you can notify the person on duty to let you out or in.
