A top choice for those who appreciate the ambience of a historic hotel, the Peery is the only truly historic hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Completed in 1910, it has been fully renovated and restored to its former European elegance, offering comfortable, tastefully decorated accommodations. The lobby is delightful, with old-style pigeonholes for letters and a grand staircase to the upper floors. Each unique, handsomely appointed room contains period furnishings and pedestal sinks with antique brass fixtures in the bathroom. High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel is complimentary; some units have fridges; and a few suites have jetted tubs. The entire hotel is nonsmoking.
