Located across the highway from the Hilton resort in the Village of Oak Creek, Las Posadas is a cross between an all-suites boutique hotel and a bed-and-breakfast inn. The big suites are in four separate buildings, and all have separate entrances and kitchenettes, which makes staying here a bit like having your own Sedona apartment. The difference is that here you get to go have a gourmet breakfast each morning in the main building. All the suites have gas fireplaces and a balcony or patio, and some suites have outdoor whirlpool spas. When you check in, you'll find not only a plate of freshly baked cookies, but also a plate of hors d'oeuvres in your room. Be sure to ask for a room with a view.
