This four-star business hotel is a fine hotel that enjoys a less-than-perfect location (too far to walk many places, including the Metro), unless you're in town for the Shanghai International Film Festival that is held next door at Shanghai Film City (Shanghai Yingcheng). A Crowne Plaza Club wing opened in mid-2008, but renovations in the last few years have improved the old facilities. Service remains friendly and attentive, and rooms are large and quite luxurious with firm, comfortable beds. Bathrooms run small throughout.
