This internationally-managed Starwood property is worth consideration for independent travelers, as its proximity to both the Nanpu Bridge and Fuxing Lu Tunnel, as well as the Tangqiao subway station, puts guests within 10 to 15 minutes of the Bund and downtown. Considerably more luxurious than the more functional Four Points brand in North America, Shanghai's Four Points (previously a local hotel) offers comfortable lodgings with a welcome dollop of luxury. Rooms are designed in a pleasing contemporary style and come with comfortable beds and all the usual amenities, including free broadband Internet access. Glassed-off bathrooms are bright and modern. Service is quite professional and it offers highly competitive room rates.
