One of Palermo's newest and best hotels rises six floors in the center of town. It was created after a massive restoration of an old palazzo once owned by the aristocratic Granatelli family. The location is on a quiet residential street, although it lies close to Ruggero Settimo Avenue, a fashionable shopping and business district. The well-furnished bedrooms for the most part are midsize, each decorated in an elegant way with marble and ceramics. The furnishings are refined with old paintings and period pieces. All the bedrooms are soundproof. The first-class Caesar Restaurant was installed on the fifth floor in a former princely apartment, and on the terrace is a roof garden created for alfresco dining in summer.
