Lloyd's is a budget motel in every sense. It's a two-story building on a relatively quiet, low-traffic street. The corridors are open-air and the rooms are small, with a definite budget feeling, though all have air-conditioning and phones. Rooms are midsize with windows and en-suite bathrooms. They seem to be doing a better job with upkeep than they have in the past. The published rates include the \"+++\" taxes; there's no discount offered for long-term stays; you must pay for your room when you check in; and if you use a credit card, it'll cost you an extra 2%. No pool, no fitness center, no nothing -- you got your room, that's what you got. Front counter staff is very nice.
