In the Atlas Hotels' spirit, the Center Hotel boosts Tel Aviv with lively decor, displays, and a video, all designed to show off the city's Bauhaus architectural treasures. It's right on Dizengoff Square (back rooms are quieter) with a helpful staff and compact, bright rooms totally renovated in 2005. The hotel offers free bicycles so you can better explore Tel Aviv, and the staff will advise on where to go. There's a tiny reception/lobby and a place for breakfast, but the Center puts all of Tel Aviv at your feet; it's a cut above other cookie-cutter moderately priced hotels.
