Down a notch both in price and ambience from the Dan Tel Aviv on Ha-Yarkon Street, but still pleasant, this upscale high-rise was built in the 1980s and is next door to a convention center and the Textile Industry Center. Guest rooms all have balconies with fabulous vistas of the sea and the city, and there is an ongoing process of redecorating. The spectacular breakfast buffet outdoes many of those in the most expensive hotels in town, and the pool complex, located on a lower-level rooftop, is surprisingly spacious. Executive-floor rooms have recently been refurbished, and the executive lounge, with a free Internet desk and a good buffet of light snacks, is well run and pleasant. I especially like the free Jacuzzi in the fitness center.
