Tel Aviv's most fun and stylish luxury hotel is right on Gordon Beach, just steps from the Ha-Yarkon Street restaurant and cafe district and the art galleries of Gordon Street. Most rooms were updated in 2005. They're bright with spring colors, and all contain fabulously comfortable new "Sweet Sleeper" beds. Club and tower rooms are beautifully decorated and come with pampering (separate) lounges and running light buffets -- the tower lounge is superb. Of all the high-rise beachfront hotels, only this Sheraton has many rooms facing squarely onto the Mediterranean; try for these rooms -- the views of the sunset, or of rolling waves on a stormy winter night, are wonderful. Personal attention in the Executive Towers is outstanding; the staff is helpful and knowledgeable without being intrusive. This Sheraton's dining facilities are the best of any hotel in the country, starting with its critically acclaimed Olive Leaf restaurant.
