This cluster of cottages evoking the South Pacific is about a 6-minute walk from the beach on the island's west end and a 2-minute drive from the airport. The name is a combination of the two native tribes that originally inhabited Tobago, the Caribs and the Arawaks. In this "village" Cynthia and Allan Clovis run a "holistic" haven as well as an inn. Come here, among other reasons, for Hatha Yoga, Qi Gong, and various stretching and relaxing exercises. Two on-site massage therapists give you all your favorite massages. If you're a vegetarian headed for Tobago, this is the place for you. You can even walk through Cynthia's garden, where she grows fresh herbs and vegetables for the meals served here. Nine of the accommodations are hexagonal cabanas with two rooms each, opening onto the pool. The units are quite spacious with king-size beds. Live entertainment is provided on Friday and Saturday.
