Set on 28 hectares (69 acres) of sun-blasted scrubland on a white strip of beachfront overlooking Grace Bay, this adults-only all-inclusive resort was one of the pioneers of Grace Bay when it opened in 1984. Today it remains an appealing oasis of charm and communal fun. Although Club Med Turkoise is more typical of the big, hyperactive Caribbean resorts than anything else on Grace Bay, it's one of the most casual Club Meds in the region.

The village-style cluster of basic two- and three-story accommodations contains colorful, newly renovated rooms with twin or king-size beds, all designed with beachfront living in mind.

Meals are included, as well as most drinks (except the real good stuff, like champagne, certain premium liquors and wines, and canned and bottled drinks; be sure to check the fine print before you book). Among the three restaurants, La Mer has grilled meats and is open in the evening only. Most meals are served at long communal tables. A dance club keeps residents active, if they wish, from 11:30pm to at least 3am nightly.

Facilities: 3 restaurants; 2 bars; open-air nightclub; beach lounge; outdoor pool; 8 tennis courts (4 lit); gym; kayaking; sailing; snorkeling; windsurfing; softball; volleyball; basketball; flying trapeze; laundry service; coin-operated laundry; dry cleaning; Wi-Fi; nonsmoking rooms; shops.
