This is one of the most reliable, well-managed condo-hotel resorts along Grace Bay, offering family-friendly lodging and a prime location on one of the best sections of beach, between the Grandview on Grace Bay and Club Med. Surrounding the property are well-manicured gardens, the centerpiece of which is a 24m-long (79-ft.) pool set against a backdrop of tropical fruit trees. Guests have a choice of oceanfront, oceanview, studio, or garden-view one- and two-bedroom suites. Suites are large and have balconies or patios and good-size kitchenettes. Two-bedroom suites can be subdivided into one-bedroom accommodations or self-sufficient units. The interiors are furnished in typical resort fashion -- don't expect 400-thread-count linens or designer toiletries, but don't expect standard chain-motel decor either -- the rooms have sturdy, well-maintained furnishings and are perfectly comfortable. The ladies at the front desk can be sort of starchy, but everything else works beautifully. Even if you're not a guest, I strongly recommend a meal at Mango Reef (www.mangoreef.com), the casual poolside restaurant with consistently fresh, tasty food.
