This hotel was designed to meet the needs of business travelers on extended visits, but its casual atmosphere and kitchen suites work well for families, too. The hotel offers a good deal: friendly service; clean, bright, and spacious lodging; and up-to-date amenities. It has two locations within a block of each other. The main building is on quiet, residential 30th Street, steps away from Georgetown's action. The Harbor Building, on 29th Street, is situated next to Whitehurst Freeway and across from the Washington Harbor complex, so is a bit noisier. Accommodations at both locations have living rooms, dining areas, and fully equipped kitchens, bedding with fluffy duvets, and HDTV flatscreen televisions. Half are studios, half are one-bedroom suites. The biggest and best suites are the three two-level, two-bedroom town houses attached to the main building. Also recommended are two penthouse suites, which have their own terraces overlooking Georgetown rooftops.
