This bed-and-breakfast hotel is aptly named, as it harbored a German-speaking Broadway-style stage in the 1950s before its conversion to a top-notch urban hotel. The tall, thin architecture of the building itself, along with a glass facade, sets the stage for the drama going on inside. The tranquil, comfortably furnished rooms are more traditional than theatrical. However, they possess character and are equipped with a cornucopia of audio books, plays, music, drama, crime stories, philosophy tomes, and even erotica. When this library of goodies has tired you, you're prepared for a rest before breakfast the following morning in a beautiful room. The city center, only a short walk away, can be seen from the dining room, and the location is a 5-minute walk from the Bahnhof.
