The Santa Lucia, whose neoclassical facade overlooks a sheltered marina, is better maintained than its nearby competitors. The interior has undergone extensive renovations and is decorated in Neapolitan style, with terrazzo floors. The guest rooms are large, containing quality beds with wrought-iron headboards and ceiling stenciling that lends a classical effect. The tiled bathrooms often contain party-size whirlpools. The rooms in back are quieter but have no views. The balconied front rooms bring you lots of traffic noise but panoramic views of the Bay of Naples in which boats and yachts bob at anchor.
