Built in 1974, this hotel is on a palm-lined street in a calm neighborhood known as Fuorigrotto, a short bus ride north of the center. The paneled, split-level lobby contains an intimate bar and several metal sculptures of horses and birds. The smallish guest rooms are simply furnished, with boldly patterned fabrics and painted furniture. The bathrooms are tiny but for the most part manage to fit in both a tub and a shower.
