The Excelsior is on the same piece of real estate as the Hotel Grand Villa Argentina ; thus it, too, enjoys a great location walking distance from Old Town and steps from the sea. The Excelsior originally was built in 1913, expanded in the 1960s, and completely renovated in 1998. Guest rooms, whether in the old or new parts of the hotel, are well appointed.
