This inn is affectionately known as the \"OTI\" by its mainly business clients. If you want to be near Basseterre, it's the best hotel around the port, with oceanfront verandas and a view of the harbor and the capital. It's so compact that a stay here is like a house party on a great liner. Terraced into a landscaped hillside above the edge of Basseterre, the hotel also has gardens and well-kept grounds. All the handsomely decorated rooms have a light, tropical feel and overlook a well-planted terrace. Bedrooms are a wide variety of sizes, and bathrooms, with tub/shower combinations, are small and tidily maintained. The hotel also offers apartments at the Fisherman's Wharf and Village, a few steps from the nearby harbor. These units are filled with most of the comforts of home.
