Not Waikiki, But Lanikai

As near as 60 feet to bustling Kalakaua Avenue, and packed with tourists, Waikiki Beach can feel like an amusement park during summer vacation (show up at six AM to nab prime spot). Local citizens have recently started petitioning for more noise-law enforcement, to little avail. Lanikai, on Oahu's windward side, is far more secluded.
