Dad taught you how to pitch, catch and steal bases. Return the favor with a father/son baseball bonding experience. Dennis McCroskey organizes trips to hot spots like Tokyo, Cuba and Panama, but this summer it's Italy. "The average age of the player is 40s or 50s," he says. "We play amateur Italian teams and then after, some of the teams will prepare dinner for us." So basically you work up a sweat during the day and load up on carbs all night. "Eating doesn't get much better than Italy," he adds. The players on the trip are all amateurs so there's no need to worry about being a whiffer, and the itinerary includes wine tastings, museums and general sightseeing.
