El Cubilete ("the dice cup") is a small club tucked away in an old downtown neighborhood called Las Nueve Esquinas (The Nine Corners). This up-and-coming area has a couple of other clubs that are worth checking out. The house band, Son de Cuba, plays a number of salsa and cumbia standards from Wednesday to Saturday from 10:30pm to 1am. The club is open Monday through Saturday 2pm to 1am.
