A down-to-earth San Francisco married couple set up this coffee-roasting operation in the heart of Lakeview. A French roaster dominates the cafe, and the owners also make their own herbal and black teas. Warm drinks are served in handsome cups nearly too big to get your hands around, and tea sippers receive their own pots and brew timers. Sit at the window or in an Adirondack chair on the sidewalk, or decamp to the homey back seating area.
