Just down the street from Second City in Old Town is Zanie's, one of the few traditional comedy clubs left in Chicago. Zanie's often draws its headliners straight off The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show, and it's a regular stop for nationally known comedians (recent headliners have included Craig Ferguson and Chelsea Handler). Stand-up routines are the usual fare, played to packed, appreciative houses. Patrons must be 21 or older.
