Formerly called Southern Ballet Theatre, and celebrating their 32nd year, this troupe stages traditional shows such as The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Swan Lake among others, using guest artists to augment local talent. There has been a resurgence of interest in the ballet here in recent years, but performances rarely sell out. The season runs from October to May. Performances feature the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and are staged at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre.
