This celebrated jazz caveau, reached by a winding staircase, draws a young crowd, mostly students, who dance to the music of well-known jazz combos. In pre-jazz days, Robespierre and Marat frequented the place. It's open Sunday to Thursday 9:30pm to 2:30am; Friday to Saturday and holidays 9:30pm to 4am.
