On the 52nd floor of the Bank of America Building, the Carnelian Room offers uninterrupted views of the city. From a window-front table you feel as though you can reach out, pluck up the Transamerica Pyramid, and stir your martini with it. In addition to cocktails, the restaurant serves a four-course meal ($59 per person) as well as a la carte items ($24-$49 for main entrees). Jackets are required and ties are optional for men, but encouraged. Note: The restaurant has one of the most extensive wine lists in the city -- 1,600 selections, to be exact.
