Perched atop Bund 18, the recently renovated Bar Rouge, with its glamorous vibe, great views, grand terrace, and creative cocktails, is still the bar of choice for Shanghai's beautiful jet set used to glamming it up. Late at night, international DJs ratchet it up a notch. With a weekend (Fri-Sat) cover charge of ¥100 ($14/£7), even if you forget your Gauloises, someone there should be able to bum you one. Sunday to Wednesday 7pm to 2am; Thursday through Saturday 7pm to 4:30am.
