Exclusive Resorts, founded in 2002 and chaired by America Online co-founder Steve Case, is by far the largest of the destination clubs, with about 2,500 members and more than 300 homes in 35 locations, from Abaco Bay, Bahamas, to Tuscany and Whistler, British Columbia. Members can even reserve time in residences aboard a ship, the World by Residensea. It’s known for fairly large luxury homes – the average value of its homes is currently around $3 million. Members have a dedicated concierge when they’re staying in club homes.
