Hotel Marques de Riscal, Elciego (Rioja region)

Frank Gehry seems to like Spain an awful lot. After designing the blisteringly modern Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, he threw his signature curvilinear lines into this 43-room hotel, centerpiece of the Ciudad del Vino complex, which is also home to the Rioja region's oldest winery, Marqués de Riscal (founded in 1858), and a spa with treatments that blend the benefits of spring water and grape and wine extracts.
