This trendy sushi bar, hidden away at the end of a winding narrow alley under the cliff of Monte di Dio (taking a cab is the best way to find it), feels more New York than Napoli with its uber-stylish decor. But thanks to the care and warm personality of owner Roberto Goretti, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with cool jazz in the background and chefs preparing food at the sushi bar in view of the diners. Although the restaurant is Japanese, it has that irrepressible Neapolitan flair, seen in the use of local fish -- for example the maki di astice (local lobster maki), or the coccio sashimi (sashimi of coccio, a local fish), depending on the day's catch.
