It is easy to mistake this large, glitzy, and centrally located restaurant for a tourist trap when you see it from the outside. Inside, you'll find an informal setting where only pizza is served -- popular with the younger crowds. In the more elegant upstairs restaurant, which will surprise you with its spacious dining rooms with 6m (20-ft.) beamed ceilings and walls decorated with painted scenes of Napoli, you'll find a healthy mix of locals and visitors. The full menu includes excellent pizza with a large variety of toppings, and a number of traditional dishes. We recommend the tortelli al sugo (filled homemade pasta in a tomato sauce), trancio di cefalo in guazzetto (steak of gray mullet in a light tomato sauce), and costolette in padella (sautéed cutlets). The secondi come -- unusual in Italy -- garnished with vegetables. We also recommend the self-serve buffet of antipasti and contorni, with an ample choice of vegetarian and fish dishes.
