One of Atlanta's hottest dining spots, Two Urban Licks is among a handful of area restaurants turned gold by creators Bob Amick and Todd Rushing of Concentrics Restaurants. (Others include One Midtown Kitchen, Piebar, and Murphy's.) Two's executive chef, Scott Serpas, has created a menu of fiery American cooking in a high-energy, urban environment. Specializing in wood-fired meat selections such as suckling pig, fish, and barbecue, the restaurant cooks dishes "in the round" on a 14-foot rotisserie in a wide-open kitchen, smack-dab in the middle of the bustling eatery. Just as exciting as the menu here is the innovative domestic wine program, consisting of 42 stainless-steel barrels of wine displayed in a 26-foot glass-and-steel temperature-controlled tower just inside the front door. Enjoy live blues at 8pm Wednesday through Saturday; on Sundays at 6pm, there's the Low Country boil.
