This two-story cathedral to good food and good times has the most wonderful crab cakes -- giant lump crab held together with little more than a prayer and not even a hint of Old Bay. The place is known for its grilled whole fish; its bouillabaisse comes highly recommended, too. Make a reservation and plan to wait. The bar in the front can be raucous, but upstairs, the mood is more intimate. Once seated, you'll be treated well and your palate will be delighted. An extravagant brunch of three to five courses is available on Sunday. Mezze (tel. 410/563-7600), right next door, serves Mediterranean-style tapas at affordable prices. It's open Monday to Saturday 4 to 10pm and Sun 11:30am to 4pm.
