One of the latest conquests of the Tragaluz group is the modern Mediterranean eatery Bestial. Mercifully unrecognizable from the location's previous tenant, Planet Hollywood, it brings some well-needed class to the gastronomically pedestrian Olympic Marina, and the menu has been designed as an Italian-influenced alternative to the dozens of packet-paella restaurants in the immediate vicinity. What sounds good on paper often doesn't transfer well to table. Seared tuna with black-olive risotto is good choice -- nothing measly about the size of the fish chunks here. The outdoor setting, with its noise-absorbing wooden decking and oversize umbrellas, is highly stylish (and functional), but the inside dining room is like sitting in a sci-fi bus station.
