Winner of multiple awards, La Chaumière is one of Calgary's old-school upscale experiences, a discreetly luxurious temple of fine dining. A meal here is an occasion to dress up, and this is one of the few spots in town that enforces a dress code. In addition to the coolly elegant dining room, La Chaumière offers plenty of patio seating in summer. The impressively broad menu is based on classic French preparations, but features local Alberta meats, game, and produce.
