Frommer's Very Highly Recommended

This place has the most inventive cooking in San Miguel. The cook throws many Mexican and Asian ingredients into the mix and concocts dishes with a definite nouvelle character. A case in point was the delightful caramelized swordfish served on a bed of several mildly flavored components, including a bit of avocado and jalapeño. It was offered both as an appetizer and main course. The menu changes often, but there's always something for carnivores, such as a beautifully cooked rib-eye or tenderloin. All the appetizers I had on my last trip were spot on. The dining room is not large and quite comfortable.
