In the midst of the confusion of the Balikpazari (the Galatasaray Fish Market in Beyoglu), Degustasyon serves a huge selection of mezes, and not just the usual selection of eggplant purée (which is phenomenal) and ezme/pepper paste. Here you'll get some Armenian recipes, such as the fava loaf, thrown in with Turkish traditional dishes. It's just as full of life as the other nearby meyhanes, but slightly classier. And obviously, in deference to the location, the restaurant serves a good selection of fish.
