Azalea is a pleasant place for a casual Western meal if you're visiting nearby Nijo Castle. Offering an English-language menu and a view of its small, Japanese landscaped garden, it has inexpensive set lunches that may include a pasta or risotto dish as the main course, along with a la carte selections like club sandwiches and beef curry rice. Dinner entrees include salmon and hamburger, while the most expensive set dinners include steak. Obviously, at these prices you can't expect perfection, but the setting is nice and it's easy to find.
