Frommer's Very Highly Recommended
Clinging to the edge of a cliff, this elegant restaurant enjoys the most spectacular sea and sunset view in Ixtapa. Beautiful wood terraces surrounded by a palm and mango tree-filled jungle look directly over the bay, just steps below. Try to come early to get one of the best vistas, especially on the lower terrace. Hidden speakers create music that seems to come from the sea. The cuisine is artfully presented and classically rich. To start, I recommend the coconut shrimp in a mango and chile sauce or the tuna carpaccio. For a main course, a wonderful dish is Filet Villa de la Selva, red snapper topped with shrimp and hollandaise sauce. Finish with chocolate mousse or bananas Singapore, and come here with someone looking for romance.
