This restaurant serves some of the tastiest French meals this side of Toulouse. The brothers Cormouls-Houles have used their prodigious culinary skills to assemble an affordable menu that allows us to know just how the French really live -- and they do it, dare we say, with incredible panache. The grilled specialties, from chicken to salmon, are imbued with only the best seasonings and sauces. Sautéed mussels with garlic and chives are fabulous as a meal and as a dipping sauce for the crusty bread. Duck lovers will enjoy the grilled duck filet in a red port sauce. Real culinary adventurers should try the dessert menu -- crème brûlée spiced with lavender (a local French favorite) is just one selection -- which is truly a delight. A full bar outside brings you back from your French delusions of grandeur to a delightful downtown Miami state of mind and beautiful views of the city skyline.
