Since 1975, W.A. Frost has served dinner in the shadow of the state capitol's historic Cathedral Hill district. The restaurant's patio is popular during the summer; in cool weather months fireplaces warm guests in a Victorian-style dining area. W.A. Frost prides itself in serving dishes prepared with locally grown produce and artisanal cheeses whenever possible; most of the menu is prepared with organic ingredients. Entrees include grilled Atlantic salmon with crème fraîche and cardamom-glazed duck breast with potato gratin and blackberry sauce. The wine list includes over 900 labels, and vintages throughout the world.
