Brash and boisterous, Go Fish is dominated by a sprawling granite bar at its center, often surrounded by younger drinkers and grazers. At the far end is an enclosed sushi bar, while near the door is a room usually populated by older folks and families. Local or regional fishery products are employed as much as possible, including Stonington sea scallops and Noank Bluepoint Oysters. Daily specials rely on fresh catches. Portions are abundant, so you might want to skip appetizers, enticing though they are (the creamy bisque, for one). During weekday happy hour, 4:30 to 6pm, the bar menu is half-price.
