Evoking 1930s Hong Kong, this favorite is still going strong, laughing at upstart new Asian restaurants, and serving some of the best Asian cuisine in Paris. The food is mainly Cantonese, prepared with flair. The menu is vast, with plenty of choices. Nearly everything is good, especially sautéed shrimp and calamari, Shanghai chicken, and red rice sautéed with vegetables. Before dinner, you might want to enjoy a drink in the upstairs smoking lounge. Downstairs, the Sing Song club has live music, including something called Sino-French jazz on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
