If menu prices around Ashland have left you wondering how you're going be able to afford dinner and a show, search out this elegant little Thai restaurant. Thai Pepper has long been a local favorite for its spicy, fragrant food, and its great location on the banks of Ashland Creek. I like to start with the lime-beef salad with mango chutney, but the rather nontraditional tiger rolls, made with cream cheese and crab, are a perennial favorite here. The menu includes lots of vegetarian dishes. You'll find the restaurant down a flight of stairs from the street. In summer, try to get a seat on the deck.
