For years, this place has been an informal hangout spot for locals. It's in a two-story building that was a former bar and brothel that dates back to 1890. The building leans a bit. It's definitely noticeable, and the curious effect it produces in most who view it is the desire for a drink. That's what the bar is counting on. The atmosphere here is quite cheerful and the food is good, too. You'll find comfort food -- rib-eye steaks, crab cakes, and the like -- and a lot of original dishes as well. There are many choices among the salads and sandwiches -- some of these are original, too. The entrees on the daily menu often show a good bit of flare. I've often found things that have grabbed my attention and satisfied my palate.
