Squadritto is on a charming, tree-filled street, near the Plaza Mulato Gil de Castro, and its Tuscan-style dining room is a preferred setting for executives during lunch, and a more genteel, elderly crowd at night. The warm, semiformal interior is filled with plants and twinkling lights. Squadritto serves fresh pastas that are rich and pleasing, and though the menu changes seasonally, examples of entrees are a crab ravioli in a bay shrimp sauce and a vegetable lasagna; the fish and meat dishes are similarly appetizing.
