For some Brazilian-style "home-cooking" check out Quinta da Mandioca. This cute rustic-looking restaurant serves up some excellent steaks and salads and a few typically Brazilian dishes such as the picadinho, a spicy beef stew topped with a poached egg and served with baked banana, farofa, and rice. On Saturday the Quinta puts out an excellent feijoada buffet with all the trimmings such as rice, baked bananas, farofa, sliced oranges, and sautéed green cabbage. If you just want a quick snack or lunch, there's also a great sandwich menu.
