The second generation owners of this traditional Liberdade standard bearer are trying to introduce some new and different dishes to the Paulista palate. Customers can try the grilled white tuna or anchovy, in salt or with a sweetened soy sauce, a steaming bowl of udon noodle soup in a rich broth with seafood or tempura vegetables. There's of course a large variety of sushi and sashimi dishes, as well as the stir-fried teppanyaki and yakisoba noodles with meat and vegetables. Expect a bit of a wait on Sunday afternoons when this restaurant is a popular lunch destination for those visiting the Liberdade street market.
