Beni Iguana's Sushi Bar

Frommer's Highly Recommended
It's one of the first sushi restaurants on St. Thomas, and a great change of pace from the Caribbean and steak choices that predominate. Along with a handful of shops, it occupies the sheltered courtyard and an old cistern across from Emancipation Square Park. You can eat outside, or pass through wide Danish colonial doors into a red-and-black-lacquered interior devoted to a sushi bar and a handful of simple tables. A perennial favorite is the "13" roll, stuffed with spicy crabmeat, salmon, lettuce, cucumbers, and scallions.
